Polarized plugs are made that way for a reason. It is not good to file the plug down in order to make it fit into the hole. Use things they way they are designed not what works best for you. If there is a two prong outlet and you have a three prong cord buy an adapter, do not remove the third prong. |

If this is the case then you simply need to turn the breaker completely off and then turn it back on again in order to restore power. If this problem persists you may have a bad breaker or there is too much power being drawn from the area that it controls. |
